Joint Meeting and Public Hearing Notice Ordinance to Adopt the Town of Anderson Year 2030 Comprehensive Plan PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Town of Anderson Town Board and Planning Commission will conduct a joint meeting and public hearing on a proposed Ordinance to Adopt the Town of Anderson Year 2030 Comprehensive Plan. The joint meeting and public hearing will be held on Saturday, February 27th, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at the Anderson Town Hall, 13808 E. Anderson Rd., Grantsburg, WI 54840. 1. Issues and Opportunities; 2. Housing; 3. Transportation; 4. Utilities and Community Facilities; 5. Agricultural, Natural and Cultural Resources; 6. Economic Development; 7. Intergovernmental Cooperation; 8. Land Use; and 9. Implementation A “Recommended Plan” of the Town of Anderson Year 2030 Comprehensive Plan and plan adoption ordinance will be available for review beginning January 27th, 2010 at the Town Hall and Grantsburg Public Library. Members of the Planning Commission also have copies available for loan. Their contact information can be found on the town website. The plan is also available on the comprehensive planning web site. Just go to www.burnettcounty.com/compplan and click on “Town and Village Plan Information” or on the Town of Anderson website www.townofanderson.com. Residents and land owners are encouraged to review the plan and submit verbal and/or written comments at the public hearing. DRIVEWAY SNOW
PLOWING NOTICE
Town of Anderson residents wishing the Town of Anderson to plow their driveway for the 2009-2010 season will be charged a per-service rate of $30.00 per plowing. Senior Citizens (65+) will be charged $20.00 per plowing. Those driveways which are assessed special fees will be notified. We will plow driveways with a minimum of 3” snowfall. If you wish to be plowed at any other time you must contact the Town Shop. 715-488-2911.
Driveways are to meet the following minimum specifications and will be plowed at the discretion of the patrolman and/or board.
1. Driveway width shall be constructed and maintained at 20 feet. Any curves in driveway must not be less than 50 foot radius.
2. Overhead clearance shall be maintained at a minimum height of 15 feet.
3. Driveways exceeding 150 feet in length must provide an adequate turn around area that will accommodate a 50 foot grader. A circle drive must have a radius of no less than 45 feet to the centerline. Otherwise, the turnaround area shall not be less than 60 feet, or a turnout area of 20 foot width by 30 foot length.
Driveways deemed difficult by the board will be priced accordingly.
No driveways will be plowed until there is adequate frost in the ground.
