Gov. Walker signed two new bills into law.

Deer Feeding: Deer can now be fed in Burnett County as long as no deer test positive for CWD. If one is found the deer will not be allowed to be fed for 36 months and surrounding counties for 24 months.

Bear Preference Points: This bill eliminates the age requirements on future bear hunters by allowing them to start collecting preference points as early as their parents allow them. Once they turn twelve and have satisfied the proper requirements, they should have enough points to hunt.
